With an outstanding showing on junior hockey’s biggest stage, Lawson Crouse rises six positions to hold the #3 rank of top prospects. Brandon Carlo, unranked in December’s ISS Top 30, proves himself to our scouting staff during World Junior Hockey Championships to move him up to #17. We also see movement from our ranked goalies. Quebec Remparts Callum Booth overtakes the #1 Goalie ranking from Daniel Vladar, who has held the #1 position since our initial rankings.
“Crouse is a determined player, that does not give up on any loose pucks or puck battles”, says ISS Hockey Director of Scouting Dennis MacInnis. “He has a lean body on a large frame and once he fills out, he has the potential to be a top six NHL power forward.”
