In addition to the top 5 ranked prospects remaining the same, there has been some consistency in the top 2 ranked goaltenders. Zachary Fucale has retained the #1 ranking for nearly the entire season, with Spencer Martin consistently retaining the #2 spot.

“We see Zachary Fucale as the only first round goalie selection in the upcoming NHL Draft”, says ISS Hockey Director of Scouting Dennis MacInnis. “As for skaters, a strong consensus has emerged among ISS Hockey’s scouting staff ranking the top 4 forwards (Nichushkin, MacKinnon, Drouin, and Barkov) and top 2 defensemen (Jones and Nurse).”

The monthly ISS Hockey rankings are included in the company’s Monthly Scouting Report, which is tailored for the general manager, scout, coach, agent or superfan that wants in-depth information on prospects for the upcoming NHL and CHL drafts. Rankings, player profiles, spotlights, tournament reports and news and notes from the world of hockey are published on the 15th of each month from October through June. For more info, visit:
