Guelph, ON— International Scouting Services (ISS) is pleased to announce that we have confirmed Cobourg Cougar General Manager, Brent Tully and Director of Sport Conditioning at TWIST Sport Conditioning Centre, Jeff Roux as Guest Speakers for the Oshawa Scouting Combine. Director of Team Shutout Goalie School, Maurice “Moe” Tanel will also join us at the combine as a guest speaker and will assist with on-ice goalie instruction.
Former Two-Time World Junior Player Brent Tully confirmed as speaker at ISS Combine in Oshawa
Tully, who won two World Junior Championship gold medals in 1993 and 1994 while a member of the Peterborough Petes, is now General Manager of a top OJHL franchise and will be co-chair of the 2015 World Jr.A. Challenge that will be held in December.
“We are extremely happy to have Brent be a part of our day as guest speaker,” said ISS Director of Scouting Dennis MacInnis, “With his background as a player and now hockey management, Brent will be able to share his experiences with players and parents on what junior teams look for in today’s players.”
Tully, a native of Peterborough, Ontario, was the Pete’s 2nd round choice in the 1990 OHL Priority Selection and spent four years as a member of the Petes. He won an OHL title in 1993 and played in the Memorial Cup in S.S. Marie that same season.
He was a draft pick of the Vancouver Canucks in 1992 and spent three seasons in their AHL system before embarking on a five-year career in Europe.
Tully will be speaking during the lunch session between 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
TWIST Hockey’s Jeff Roux to attend ISS Combine as Guest Speaker and Assist in Off-Ice Testing
Jeff, has an extensive training background with players that play professionally in the NHL, as well as, players in the Canadian Hockey League (OHL & WHL) and NCAA/CIS.
“Having Jeff attend the combine will be a great benefit to the players and parents” said Head of Player Testing Ian Mosher, “With his level of expertise and years of experience training elite level hockey players, everyone will be leaving the combine with more knowledge on how to become a better player not only on the ice but off.”
In addition to Jeff, some of the members of the TWIST Whitby team will also be in attendance to assist in the off-ice testing portion of the combine.
Jeff and his team will be speaking about the importance of off-season training and key areas to consider from 9:30 am – 10:00am and 10:30 am – 11:00 am.
The Twist Coaching team will discuss how to customize your off-season to meet your hockey development and training needs to help you reach your goals on and off the ice. Understanding how to train, learning how to properly fuel yourself and recover, and being willing to make the commitment and put in the effort necessary to reach your goals are the keys to success. The Twist coaches teach and inspire each player, and provide them with the tools they need to become better athletes, better hockey players and keep working towards their hockey dreams.

TEAM SHUTOUT Director of Player Development Moe Tanel confirmed as Guest Speaker and On-Ice Goalie Instructor
Moe, a Goalie Instructor since 1994, developed the “Crease Control Training System” that focuses on building functional structure and sustainable growth for goaltenders.
“The passion and knowledge that Moe brings to the development of young goaltenders is inspirational” commented Testing & ISS Hockey Coordinator Kevin Christmas, “He brings a unique approach to the development process that will help players better understand their game.”
Moe, will be on the ice with the goalies from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm. He will then be sitting down to talk with the goalies about preparing for junior hockey.

ISS Hockey Scouting Combine – Event Information
The ISS Bantam Combine is a one-day event that will feature forty (40) Bantam-aged players from southern Ontario. Players will be put through a variety of on and off-ice tests – including the NEXT Testing skills testing system. The Combine will be held from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at Canlan Ice Sports in Oshawa, Ontario at 1401 Phillip Murray Avenue.
Limited spaces are available for the ISS Bantam Combine and is open to any player born in 2000 or 2001.
