MacKinnon, Jones, Barkov, Drouin and Monahan retain their same top 5 spots from last month’s rankings. However, there is some movement in the next 25 rankings.

“MacKinnon and Jones continue to stand above the rest of this class”, says ISS Hockey Director of Scouting Dennis MacInnis. “A big riser this month is Nikita Zadorov, moving up 8 spots to #11. A remarkable physical specimen standing at 6’5″ and over 230 pounds, Zadorov exhibits the type of poise and composure with the puck that one would expect from a ten year veteran.”

The monthly ISS Hockey rankings are included in the company’s Monthly Scouting Report, which is tailored for the general manager, scout, coach, agent or superfan who wants in-depth information on prospects for the upcoming NHL and CHL drafts. Rankings, player profiles, spotlights, tournament reports and news and notes from the world of hockey are published on the 15th of each month from October through June.
