There are a ton of prospects available this year who have their own unique appeal. Whether it’s good foot speed, intuitive hockey sense or an elite shot, each of these prospects below sits atop the class in their attribute category.

The 17-year-old [Nathan MacKinnon] is ranked number two in the upcoming draft, but Tuesday, an independent scouting agency – International Scouting Services – placed him first, ahead of Seth Jones of the Portland Winterhawks.

Nathan MacKinnon’s dominant performance at the 2013 Memorial Cup has boosted the Halifax Mooseheads forward back to the top of the International Scouting Services draft rankings.

The performance of Halifax Mooseheads centre Nate MacKinnon at the Memorial Cup vaulted him into top spot in the International Scouting Services (ISS) NHL Draft Guide on Tuesday.

Portland Winterhawks defenseman Seth Jones had a nice run atop the ISS Hockey rankings for the 2013 NHL Draft. But, in that scouting organization’s final release before next month’s draft, Jones has been supplanted by the Halifax Mooseheads’ Nathan MacKinnon as the top prospect according to ISS.
